The National Assembly has just issued a resolution on continuing to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on urban planning, management and use, in which one of the remarkable mission of the Government is “Reviewing status quo, studying and promulgating mechanisms and policies to manage and strictly punish the Vietnamese people who allow foreigners to buy houses, receive transfer of land use rights or illegally rent land under their Vietnamese names”. The resolution takes effect from July 29, 2019.
